Even though I'm not a fan of Green Day I think it was a great thing for them to do, because of their popularity they can easily get a lot of people to listen to them and potentionally send aide to darfur, which otherwise wouldn't have been sent. I also think this was a very intersting clip to put into your blog and made it a lot more fun to look at. It's also great to see survivors of this horrible event having hope, and is such a relief to see after hearing about all these horrible events.
I am a fan of Green Day, and i was to aware that this song was dedicated to Darfur. This video/song has a lot of meaning and emotion to it. I did not know much about Darfur before reading this blog and this video alone exlains a lot. It is amazing how people can have hope after such tragedy and suffering.
